How to use, get the most out of, and solve problems with the IASCnet Web Site
|
From the homepage, IASCnet should look something like this (in 800x600 resolution):
If not, the simplest thing you can do to fix the problem is to upgrade your
browser to either
Netscape Communicator/Navigator 4.0 or
Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0.
What's up with the Officer section?
You may have noticed that the Officers section of this site does
strange things to your browser. For some odd reason, when set up
like the rest of the pages on this site, when you go to the Officer
section or return to it from a link, it loads, but displays the bottom
of the page first, probably due to the extensive graphics towards the
top. I've run the page through every HTML validator and source checker
I could find, and they all say that it's great. Whatever. Anyways, I set
up the page to go to a designated point (at the top of the page) using
the same NAME attribute links that join the pictures and articles. The
page may jump around or display #top in the browser window, but at least
it displays the top of the page when it should. If you have any ideas,
please let me know. - m.b.
